1Who we are
GoDay is a habit tracker application developed and published by Jesterday Studio, an independent developer based in Spain. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to Jesterday Studio.
This policy explains what personal data GoDay collects, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR and applicable Spanish data protection law.
2What data we collect — and what we don't
GoDay does not collect your email, requires no account, runs no advertising, and sends no analytics to our servers. Nearly all your data stays on your device.

3Subscriptions & RevenueCat
GoDay offers an optional GoDay PRO subscription (weekly, monthly and yearly plans). Purchases are processed through the platform's native store — Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) as our subscription management platform. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier tied to your installation — not your name or email — solely to validate your subscription entitlements.
RevenueCat may also receive: the platform receipt issued by Apple or Google to confirm your purchase; your subscription state (active, expired, trial); and your device locale/country code for pricing display.
RevenueCat does not receive your payment card details — those are handled exclusively by Apple or Google. RevenueCat acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
4Local data & backups
All habit data, completion logs, streak history, and settings are stored locally on your device. This data is not synced to any cloud service operated by us.
GoDay includes an optional manual backup feature that exports your data as a file to your device's local storage. You may then share or store this file yourself. We never receive this file.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed by the operating system. We have no ability to recover it.
Note: your device's system-level backup (iCloud or Google Drive backup) may include GoDay's local data as part of a full device backup, subject to your OS settings and Apple's or Google's privacy policies.

6Data retention
Data stored on your device persists until you delete the app or clear its data — you control this.
RevenueCat retains purchase and entitlement records as long as necessary to manage your subscription and comply with their legal obligations. Contact RevenueCat at privacy@revenuecat.com to exercise rights over that data.
We do not retain any personal data on our own servers.
7Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access a copy of your data
- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — for local data, delete the app; for RevenueCat data, contact them directly
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability — the in-app backup export provides a full export of your local data
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent for notifications at any time via your device OS settings
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@jesterday.studio. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) — aepd.es.
8Children
GoDay is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us at info@jesterday.studio.
9Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if GoDay's data practices change. The effective date at the top will be updated. If changes are material, we will display a notice in the app.
